Josh Flagg likes setting records. Within the first four years of his career, Josh participated in four record sales, three of which are in our own city of Beverly Hills.
Josh recently participated in the highest sale in the history of Brentwood Park. He also participated in the highest priced sales on Foothill Road, Monovale Drive and Roxbury Drive.
Son of Michael and Cindy Flagg, and grandson of Edith Flagg, Josh grew up on the Westside, and attended Brentwood School. He graduated from Beverly Hills High School in 2004 and jumped right into high-end residential real estate. Josh had the choice to either join the family business, which owns and develops shopping centers, or go a different direction.
Josh has finished up his book, a book which he hopes will raise money for charity. “The book is about my grandmother’s survival during the German-regime during World War II, and her successes here in the United States,” Josh said.
Josh is also one of the stars of Bravo TVs Million Dollar Listing, returning for its second season sometime this year. “He pampers his clients…” said one local Realtor, “In a way I have never seen before and I’ve been in the business for 25 years. I’ve seen Josh send chauffeured cars to his clients’ homes and send his clients up in helicopters to view properties. The best thing I have seen Josh do, though, was wrap an entire house in a big red bow before delivering the keys to the new owners. He is very creative, and that is why he is so successful. In Josh’s mind, there are no limitations.”
Flagg does do more than sell real estate though. He also is a world traveler, having been to more than 50 countries. If you ever want to know where to stay in a particular city, just ask him.
He will not only give you a few choices, but he will tell you which particular rooms to request!
“My funniest experience so far was when I fell into the pool of a client’s house in the middle of a showing, clothes, jewelry and all! Well I couldn’t let that slow me down, so I put on the owners robe, threw on some slippers and continued the showing. The buyers sent me a pair of swim-trunks when we closed escrow.”
