Alyssa and Tessa Hendrie – Co-Owners, Bitchin’ Digs

Bitchin’ Digs™ is a family operation, two sisters, created by Alyssa Belle Hendrie and Tessa Marie Hendrie.  Tessa, our Bitchin’ Designer and Realtor, thrives on creating a vibrant new feeling in every room she designs and finding those hidden properties perfectly suited for each client.  Alyssa is in charge of the Bitchin’ Business, putting her years of luxury hospitality and business experience to creative use.  Together, they are fulfilling their lifelong dream of owning, managing and surrounding themselves with truly Bitchin’ Digs™.

Alyssa received her Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and then spent her twenties saving for the Bitchin’ Business.  She earned money from her career as a political consultant, working in the corporate world, and as a public speaking coach.  She worked for U.S. Senators, California Senators and Assembly Members, Los Angeles School Board Members and Los Angeles City Elected Officials.  Finally, she and her sister were able to buy the first Bitchin’ Digs™ property, which they turned into a Caribbean style beach bungalow in Dana Point, California, the Bitchin’ Beach House™.

Tessa is the Bitchin’ Designer and Realtor!  She studied interior design at California State University in San Diego and has been designing for years, starting with her parents’ house when she was only nine years old!  She would makeover multiple rooms … every year.  As Alyssa says, “Tessa was born to be a designer.  What kid starts designing brilliantly at such an early age?  She inherited GrandBetty’s gift of creating beauty in every space she designs.”  Tessa’s current focus is to make the client’s vision come to life in a beautiful way.  The fun part for her is designing in various styles, based on the client’s tastes.  And what’s better than hiring a real estate agent, you ask?  Hiring a Realtor who is also a designer!
