Annie Ives has served as Chief Executive Officer of The MLS/CLAW™ since September 1995. During her tenure, she brought The MLS/CLAW™ from the brink of a hostile takeover to a productive, profitable and thriving company.
Under her leadership, The MLS/CLAW™ went from a full-service site being managed by a software company, which administrated the system, training, and help desk, to a turnkey fully-independent entity with an internally developed and wholly-owned and operated browser-based system, TheMLS.com Member and Guest Sites.
In addition, Ives established a production department to initiate the in-house publication of two weekly magazines which promote broker and public open houses, putting a well established company out of business with her superior product.
Ives has managed to keep costs below budget, and The MLS/CLAW™ remains profitable, which allows the organization to stay competitive by always providing added value to members without increasing fees.
Since 2010, Ives has been serving as Chief Financial Officer of California Real Estate Technology Services (CARETS). CARETS provides an all-inclusive database of properties for sale covering six counties in Southern California. CARETS is now comprised of seven MLSs serving 95,000+ real estate professionals in Southern California.
Ives earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education at CSUN, and an MBA degree at Woodbury University.
Annie will be a featured guest on “Local Power Players: LA’s Influential Experts Discuss Today’s Trends and Policies” on Saturday February 25th from 3-4pm.
