In 2012, Mindy Lamont stepped away from the world of pinstripes and Ferragamos to found The Insurist, a more down to earth approach to life insurance. Starting her career in one of the largest insurance companies in the world, she has spent the last 14 years in the insurance industry. Moving through the ranks of the industry from administration to management and working with clients, this rare experience has taught her many facets of the business and gives her a very unique perspective. This unique purview allows her to break down the complexity of insurance products to layman’s terms and maximize the underwriting process to the client’s best advantage.
